Episode #69. You asked and we listened… today’s topic is much requested from our listeners – it’s ‘burnout’. Unfortunately, burnout in the marketing industry is not uncommon, which is why Abby wanted to dedicate several episodes to this important topic, starting with this episode.

Burnout is the physical or emotional exhaustion that occurs when your body no longer wants to function. It is more extreme than being tired; it is when you have been under such chronic and prolonged stress for too long, that even simple tasks begin to feel impossible.

In this episode, Abby is joined by Maggie Supernova, a former marketer turned Burnout Prevention and Recovery Coach, who specialises in Yin Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness - which she utilises in her coaching programmes.

Maggie shares her own experience of burnout and how she now helps others as a burnout coach. Plus Maggie shares who is more prone to burnout, understanding where you are in the cycle and what you can do to look after yourself.
