About 600,000 young people have just finished their university courses and are seeking work in a very uncertain economy. What future now for those who had planned to work in marketing and advertising? Internships are limited, graduate schemes are being reduced or disappearing completely, and offers of work after placements have dried up. Wax/On’s Mark Runacus and Paul Jacobs met with three recent Bournemouth University graduates via Zoom to see how they‘re feeling, how they rate their prospects, and to discuss Zoom job interviews. They share their own tips for creative CVs, getting the most from LinkedIn, and acquiring attractive marketing skills.
